Apple Pay activation only by phone?

Why do I have to call someone to activate my new debit card in Apply Pay? Why can't this be done online?

Du kannst deine Visa-Debitkarte für Apple Pay in den Einstellungen der comdirect App bequem online aktivieren. Dafür ist kein Anruf erforderlich.

Stehe vor dem selben Problem, wollte gerade die Debitkarte aktivieren.

1. Auf meinem iPhone kann ich mich nicht in der Bank-App anmelden weil nach Eingabe der Daten nur ein Fehler angezeigt wird.
2. Für meine Apple Watch kann ich die Karte scheinbar ebenfalls nicht über die App aktivieren. Folglich bleibt nur die telefonische Aktivierung für iPhone und Apple Watch, …
3. … bei der ich mein Konto-Passwort für die Kartenaktivierung durchgeben soll. Ich hoffe, das war nur ein schlechter Scherz eines uninformierten Mitarbeiters. Werde es später noch mal versuchen.
4. Mein iPad, auf dem die App sogar funktioniert (als hochskalierte iPhone-App …), kann ich zur Bestätigung für die anderen Geräte nicht verwenden.

Gute Neuerung. Damals den SMS-Code für jedes Gerät bei der VISA-Kreditkarten-Aktivierung einzugeben, war echt deutlich weniger "bequem".

Aber ernsthaft: Bitte die SMS-Aktivierung als Alternative anbieten. Der aktuelle App-Ansatz wirkt undurchdacht und unausgereift.

Bei mir erscheint die Karte in der App als aktiviert, im Appel Wallet muss ich sie dennoch noch per Telefon aktivieren.

Wenn du die Karte über die comdirect App zur Apple Wallet hinzufügst, wird kein Anruf benötigt. Also in der comdirect App einfach auf "Hinzufügen zu: Apple Wallet" anklicken. Hast du das so gemacht?

So rum hat es funktioniert. Ich hatt zuerst mit der Wallet angefangen und das ging dann wohl nicht. Danke für die Hilfe!

Thank you. Like other user on this thread I added it via the Apple Wallet app first. Removing it from the Wallet and then re-adding via the comdirect app works fine.

Ja, du kannst auch ohne comdirect App die Aktivierung durchführen. Hier ist dann jedoch ein Anruf bei den Kollegen erforderlich.

I tried, but i did not manage to bypass the responding machine that ask me to install the app. 
It was so simple with the activation via sms and the credit card. Why changing it?
do you have plans to restore it? I’m not very willing to search my way through the responding bot.
