Brookfield Renewable Unit Split

Hi, 

Please excuse me for writing in English, I just can't write about stocks in German. But feel free to answer in German, any help is welcome 🙂

I'm a holder of BROOKFIELD RENEWABLE PARTNERS (WKN A1JQFZ) and it was announced in mid July that they would be splitting and creating a new stock called BROOKFIELD RENEWABLE CORPORATION (WKN A2P90A) on July 31st. This is to help facilitate the aquisition of Terraform Power. 

They announced that for every 4 pieces of my stock I should recieve an extra 1 piece of the new corporation stock. This officially happned on July 31st. All info regargding this can be found on the following site.

I wanted to know if anybody can tell me when I can expect to recive the new Corporation stocks in my Depot?

In my experience, it takes a few days until it's in your Depot

Hi,

the A2P90A arrived today (5.8.20) in my Comdirect depot. Do you now why they have two stocks nowe (A2P90A and A1JQFZ). What's the differenze between this two. On the website they wrote: 

"Aktien für jede BEP-Einheit. Die Anteile werden so strukturiert, dass sie den BEP-Anteilen einschließlich identischer Ausschüttungen wirtschaftlich gleichwertig sind, und jeder Anteil kann nach Wahl des Inhabers jederzeit gegen einen BEP-Anteil ausgetauscht werden. "

So from my what I have read, the LP is still legally based in Bermuda, whereas the the Corporation is based in Canada. This means that in Germany,  you will be paying twice as much tax for the Corporation than for the LP. That is pretty much the only difference.

ein kleines Update. Die Comdirect hat für den Split Steuern von meinem Giro-Konto eingezogen!

Wie erging es euch mit dem Split? Hier die Details:

Die Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners (WKN: A1JQFZ ISIN: BMG162581083) haben am 31.07. einen Aktiensplit 4:1 durchgeführt. Leider wurden die 25% neuen Aktien nicht auf die A1JQFZ sondern auf die A2P90A gutgeschrieben. An 30.07.20 ist entsprechend der Aktienkurs der A1JQFZ um ein fünftel zurückgegangen. Soll heißen, der Vorgang war vollständig steuerlich neutral. Nun habe ich allerdings von der Comdirect eine Steuerverrechnung bekommen, das  Sie diesen Aktiensplit fälschlicherweise als Einbuchung einer Stockdividende.

Hallo

Escrimark bei mir wurde auch Steuer berechnet.

Meiner Meinung ist dies nicht korrekt.

Ich habe in wallstreert online gelesen, dass dies wohl bei einer anderen Bank schon korrigiert wurde.

Vielleicht könnte Sich das comdirect Team hier der Sache schon mal annehmen.
