Danke für den Hinweis auf das Schreiben, habe das bei mir in der Online-Postbox auch gefunden. Kam am 04.06.2022 (Samstag), d. h. 5 Werktage, um darauf reagieren zu können. 

Ein Depot bei einer russischen Bank kann ich weiterhin nicht eröffnen, schon gar nicht in dieser Zeit. Für ein seriöses Depot ist u.a. ein Identifikationsverfahren nötig. Das wird, wenn man sich außerhalb der Russischen Föderation aufhält, schwierig. Falls jemand konkrete Tipps hat, wie man das bis zum 13. dennoch machen könnte, bitte posten. 

Die Sberbank hatte eine Lösung für ausländische ADR-Inhaber angeboten, Instruktionen siehe hier:

Klickt man sich durch die Formulare, heißt es dort aber, dass Aufträge zur Aufbewahrung auf einem Typ C- Konto bis zum 27.05.2022, 18 Uhr entgegengenommen wurden. 

Ich hoffe weiterhin, dass die ADR bzw. später die (zwangs?-) umgewandelten Aktien durch JP Morgan nicht zwangsverkauft werden, auch nach dem 16.06. nicht bzw. nicht bei erstbester Möglichkeit (das ist nur ein Recht, mehr nicht). 

Mit Wert meine ich den Marktwert der Aktien (RU 0009029540) zum Verkaufszeitpunkt, abzüglich der Gebühren für die Umwandlung der ADR (US80585Y3080) in diese Aktien. Aktuell beträgt der Wert des ADR ohne Umwandlungsgebühren z.B. ca. 7,2 Euro (4 Aktien pro ADR, 118,78 Rubel je Aktie an der MOEX, umgerechnet zum aktuellen Rubelpreis).

Wenn man letztendlich nur Centbeträge erhält, weiß man, dass man betrogen wurde und jemand, der die Differenz (nach irgendwelchen intransparenten OTC-Geschäften, undurchsichtigen Veräußerungsketten und windigen Begründungen) erhält, davon profitiert hat. Der Vorgang würde dann die Justiz beschäftigen und im worst case wäre das auch ein Fall für die Staatsanwaltschaft und Aufsichtsbehörden. Ich hoffe, das bleibt uns allen erspart - befürchte aber, dass das genauso kommen wird.

Unglaublich. Ich glaube die Codi hat wohl tatsächlich keine Lust darauf die berühmte "Extra-Meile" zu laufen um uns zu helfen, sodass wir unsere Aktien sicher umgetauscht und irgendwo aufbewahrt kriegen, also den "Rundum-Sorglos-Service". Echt Schade, zumindest offener und ehrlicher hätte man das kommunizieren können! Insbesondere diese versteckten Anspielungen (nach dem Motto "man arbeitet im Hintergrund tatkräftig an Lösungen") haben unnötige Hoffungen geweckt! Aber jetzt heißt es dann wohl für die Anleger Eigeninitivative zeigen?!

An alle anderen: Was ist der nächste Step? Eröffnen wir uns jetzt alle in Eigenregie selber ein Konto bspw. bei der Gazprom Bank? Youtube Videoanleitungen gibt es ja genügend dazu.

Dear DR Holder,

On 16 April 2022, Federal Law No. 114-FZ was enacted providing that with effect
from 27 April 2022:

1) any circulation of depositary receipts representing shares in PJSC Gazprom (the
"DRs" and "Shares", respectively) outside of the Russian Federation shall be
terminated;
2) no DR holder shall have voting rights or receive any dividends;
3) the right to receive Shares upon DR conversion may be exercised only by a DR
holder that has this status as of 27 April 2022.

On 29 April 2022, PJSC Gazprom submitted an instruction to The Bank of New
York Mellon to terminate the Deposit Agreement and close the DR Programmes.

Therefore, you are hereby notified of the procedure for conversion of the DRs
and provision of the Shares to DR holders hat had their status as of 27 April 2022.

In order to arrange for the DR conversion into Shares we suggest that you decide
on your further actions taking into account the following options.

Upon surrendering the DRs for conversion, the Shares may be credited to your
account (the "Account"1)

1) opened with a foreign depositary acting as a foreign nominee and holding a
securities account at a Russian depositary
or
2) opened with a Russian depositary

Please be informed that if your securities account is held with a foreign depositary
acting as a foreign nominee and holding a securities account with a Russian depositary,

of the Bank of Russia Board of Directors dated 29 April 2022 offers DR holders who
are non-residents of the Russian Federation to open a Type “C” securities account for
receiving the Shares and a bank account Type “C” for crediting dividends paid on the
Shares, following a simplified procedure.

To open a securities account, DR-holder being non-resident of the Russian
Federation need to complete a client application in English (the “client application”)
(the client application form – an individual – a foreign national or a stateless person

Laut dem youtube-video von weiter oben würde die Gazprom-Bank auch nur Gazprom-Aktien einlagern. Sberbank usw. ginge nicht bzw. nur bei einem Upgrade, was Anwesenheit in Russland oder ein kompliziertes Vollmacht-Verfahren erfordere. 

Es ist für uns Kleinanleger mit mehreren Aktien auch kaum praktikabel, unterschiedliche C-Konten bei unterschiedlichen russischen Banken zu eröffnen. Zudem ist für mich nicht klar, wie ich später überhaupt an die Aktien rankomme, auch gibt es dann weitere Komplikationen mit der Steuer usw. Hier hätte es einer Lösung der Bank/ des Brokers bedurft. Sollte ich mitbekomme, dass das eine andere Bank gelöst hat, werde ich dahin wechseln, was schade ist, weil ich schon über 20 Jahre bei der Comdirect bin. Wenn aber eine Bank aktuelle Herausforderungen nicht lösen kann/will, ist es an der Zeit zu wechseln.

Die Aufkündigung des ADR-Programms der Sberbank hatte JP Morgan übrigens schon am 16. Mai veröffentlicht. Mit Schreiben vom 17.05.2022 informierte mich die Comdirect über die allgemeine Situation (das Schreiben haben hier viele erhalten) und forderte darin auf, von der Einreichung von Umtauschaufträgen abzusehen. Hätte man uns die nunmehr versendete Info umgehend erteilt, so hätten wir vielleicht noch das Angebot der Sberbank mit dem C-Konto rechtzeitig annehmen können.

Ich habe noch kein Schreiben bekommen aber für mich ist es nicht Praktikabel. Werde sehen welche Bank das rennen macht.

Die Sache mit der Gazprombank hat nur einen kleinen Haken. Es funktioniert nicht. Ich hatte das bereits vor 4 Wochen versucht ein Depot und Typ c Konto dort zu eröffnen und habe Nachricht von denen erhalten dass es nicht geht( bzw. Es geht, aber dazu muss ich persönlich nach Russland) ! Deshalb bin ich zum Anwalt.

das scheint wirklich mehr als peinlich für die comdirect.

Es ist schade, wie sich eine Bank mit solch kurzen Reaktionsfristen ins Aus schießt.
